Yogi Adityanath meets Amit Shah New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Delhi on Thursday to discuss preparations for the parliamentary elections scheduled for early next year with the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The yogi who met with Amit Shah on Thursday is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP Chairman JP Nadda on Saturday as part of an exercise that may involve expanding the UP government and Anupriya Patels BJP ally Apu Nadal, along with Shah and Yogi, conducted deliberations at the home of the Minister of the Interior, adding to rumors about the possible reorganization of Lucknow and the central ministries. In Modi's first government, he could not find a place in the prime minister's second team. Apna Dal, the political party with OBC Kurmis as the mainstay, has always been interested in his return and greater representation in the state government. Party sources said that BJP had decided to stay in Adityanath, but his arrival in the capital once again sparked speculation about the upcoming changes in UP’s leadership, which confuses the party’s top leaders.
