The Chairman of the Minister of Pramod Sawant has held a review meeting on Sunday to take stock of the second wave forms of Covid-19 in Goa.
Sawant on Friday said that based on stakeholder input, the decision will be taken whether to extend the curfew throughout the state or start a calibrated opening.
When asked about curfew, which is scheduled to end on Monday, Sawant said several factors must be considered before the decision to end the curfew can be taken. "On June 6, I have called a review meeting to decide how long to extend the curfew or how to continue. We will take a stock of the situation before deciding at night," Sawant told reporters.
Goa reported 17 Covid-19 fatality on Friday while the number of active cases was at 9,099. The level of cave recovery has increased to 92.5 and the level of prospective decreases to 14%. Of the 4,086 swab samples tested, 576 fresh Covid-19 cases were detected.

कर्फ्यू के बारे में पूछे जाने पर, जो सोमवार को समाप्त होने वाला है, सावंत ने कहा कि कर्फ्यू को समाप्त करने का निर्णय लेने से पहले कई कारकों पर विचार किया जाना चाहिए। सावंत ने संवाददाताओं से कहा, "6 जून को, मैंने कर्फ्यू को कब तक बढ़ाया जाए या कैसे जारी रखा जाए, यह तय करने के लिए एक समीक्षा बैठक बुलाई है। हम रात में फैसला करने से पहले स्थिति का जायजा लेंगे।"
