Rainfall updates in Mumbai: Uddhav Thackeray took stocks when it rained in parts of Mumbai; issued instructions on smooth traffic and drainage.

 



Rainfall updates in Mumbai:  the southwest monsoon settled in various parts of Maharashtra, including Mumbai. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) stated that the financial capital has experienced waterlogging, local train service disruptions and heavy rains. The Meteorological Department added that the monsoon may enter more areas of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, parts of Orissa and more areas of West Bengal in the next two days. "The monsoon has come to Mumbai. The normal arrival date is June 10th each year, so it is earlier than the average arrival date," said Dr. Jayatha Sakar, Deputy General Manager (DDG) of IMD Mumbai.

 The Meteorological Department predicts cloudy weather with moderate showers/thunderstorms in the financial capital and suburbs. It may rain heavily to very heavy rain in remote areas. Colaba and Santacruz de Mumbai recorded 65.4 mm and 50.4 mm of rain from 8:30 on Tuesday morning to 5:30 on Wednesday morning. It has been raining heavily in southern Mumbai since Tuesday night. The entire Breach Candy was submerged, and the trail was submerged. Rain also caused poor visibility on the eastern highway. The Mumbai Police issued a warning to passengers, recommending that they avoid certain areas due to water registration: Netaji Palkar Chowk, SV Road Baherambaug Junction, Sakkar Panchayat Chowk, Neelam Junction, Govandi, Hindamata Junction, Iqbal Kamani Junction, Dharavi Restaurant, Dharavi, Sion Junction, and King circles.
